SHILLONG: The Nongthymmai legislator Jemino Mawthoh has expressed concern over trucks plying during school hours adding to the traffic congestion.

“There is restriction on the entry of trucks to the city during school hours, but I am surprised that police are not bothered to check this, resulting in the chaos in parts of city,” Mawthoh said.

The legislator said that he would seek the intervention of the Government to check frequent traffic disruption in parts of the city.
