On April 25, Tarsing Khyriem raped one woman (42) at her residence at Lummawlong Mawjrong (East Khasi Hills). The accused person also stole her bag containing a pair of earring and money.
Explosives seized
On April 23, while the personnel of Border Wing Home Guards were conducting patrol duty they spotted unidentified miscreants using explosives for fishing at Kyrshai Area (West Khasi Hills). On seeing the Border Wing personnel, the miscreants fled away leaving behind one Rex bomb, Galantine sticks and detonators. The explosive materials have been seized and matter is under enquiry.
Assault
On April 24, two persons Comingstar Mylliem and Bok Mylliem assaulted Shester Snaitang at Mawkyrwat. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and shifted to CHC, Mawkyrwat. Matter is under enquiry.
Threat
Sunnyel M. Marak lodged a complaint at Tura PS that on April 19 circa 7.30 pm, one Limberth B. Sangma damaged his motorcycle (ML-08C-0592) and also threatened him with dire consequences at Araimile, Tura.
