SHILLONG: Sexual abuse cases involving minors, which are rampant in rural areas, are now haunting the city as one such case was reported from Nongrim Hills.
As per the police report, a woman identified as Juole Shadap lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah Police Station that on April 27 at around 1 PM, a 16-year-old boy took a minor girl (15) to his friend’s house at Nongrim Hills and sexually abused her.
