NONGSTOIN: Secretaries and presidents of different units of the Nongstoin Block Congress Committee (NBCC) shot off a complaint letter to the President of the District Congress Committee (DCC) and the MPCC Chief D D Lapang against the NBCC president Nestingdhar Nongdkhar.

The letter alleged after Nongdkhar became the NBCC president, four elections were held MLA (2008), MP (2009), MDC (2009) and MLA (2013) and in all these elections the INC in Nongstoin was never able to secure a win.

The members alleged that the reason for the loss is the lost of trust in the leadership of the NBCC President Nongdkhar. The letter further states that after Dr Pariong was allotted the INC ticket from Nongstoin AC in the last election, the members alleged that Nongdkhar did not lend his support to the party and rather campaigned for someone else. It also alleged that Nongdkhar changed the decision of the executive meeting that was held on March 11 without consulting anyone.

The letter stated that Nongdkhar failed to convene an executive meeting on April 20 prior to the general meeting on April 25 without citing any reasons.

Secretaries of the NBCC urged the party high command to responsibly take a decision and choose a new president of the NBCC for the betterment of the party in Nongstoin.
