SHILLONG: With the Government failing to comply with their demand for release of their arrested leaders, the KSU has announced a night road blockade to be effective in the entire East Khasi Hills district.
The proposed night road blockade would be effective from 9 PM of May 10 till 5 AM of May 11 and again from 9 PM of the same day till 5 AM the next morning (May 12).

He also warned that KSU would resort to more agitational programmes if the Government failed to comply with their demand.
Kharmawphlang also alleged that the State Police have been hunting for the Union members.
According to him, the KSU had always cooperated with the police and KSU president Daniel Khyriem and general secretary Auguster Jyrwa had even appeared before the police at Mawlai police station to given their statements in relation with the April 4 incidents.
