SHILLONG: Chief Advisor to the State government, DD Lapang recently inaugurated the kitchen shed and playground of Dresi Memorial Kur Syiem Upper Primary School at Kriet, Mawlong in Ri Bhoi and also attended the 1st Dresi Memorial Kur Syiem Sport meet.
The Kitchen shed was constructed under the Mid-day Meal scheme at an amount of Rs. 2,66,500 whereas the playground was sanctioned under BRGF Scheme.
In another programme, Lapang also inaugurated the additional class room of Mawlong Govt. L.P School, constructed under BRGF Scheme at an amount of Rs 2, 00, 000 at Mawlong village, Ri Bhoi in the presence Ri Bhoi Deputy Commissioner Akash Deep Singh.
The programme was also attended by the headman, village elders, students, teachers and parents.
