Threatening case

lOn May 7 at around 8 am, Pyntngen Kharbani (30) damaged household articles and also threatened his mother, Iodalin Kharbani with dire consequences at Mawlai Nongmali-III, Shillong. Police arrested the accused.

lOne Shiruplang Manner lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that on May 5 at around 8 pm, her ex-husband, Simon Shylla went to her residence at Khliehtyrshi (WJH) and threatened her with dire consequences.

Theft

lOn May 7 at around 5 pm, unknown miscreants stole one cell-phone from one Om Prakash Singh while he was travelling in public bus from Motphran towards Mawblei, Shillong.

lOn the night of May 3, unknown miscreants broke into a shop belonging to one Keshar Deo Sharma at Laban and stole goods valued around Rs. 1,87,371.

Missing

One Rajan Kumar Das lodged an FIR that his truck (AS-01-DD-3672) along with the handyman, Dananjay Rajbongshi was reported missing from Gasuapara (SGH), since May 5, 2013.

Harassment

One Shiva Kurbah (35) lodged a complaint (May 8) at Umiam PS that her husband, Worning Star Lyngdoh Nongbsat (30), harassed and mentally tortured her for the last six months at Umtrew village (RB).

Kidnapping

One Malock Singh lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that his son, Sharirher Singh (20) was found missing from his residence at Gora Line, Laitumkhrah, Shillong since April 15, 2013. On May 1, he came to know that one Rani Kaur along with her sons had kidnapped his son and married him off to her daughter, Devi Kaur. According to the police, the case has been registered and police are still investigating into the matter.
