AC public rally concludes peacefully

 WILLIAMNAGAR: The Public Rally and sit-in demonstration by the Williamnagar Joint Action Committee, a conglomeration of Civil Societies and NGOs opposing the construction of a dam at Daribok concluded on a peaceful note on Friday.

Speaking to The Shillong Times, JAC Publicity Secretary Silseng G Momin stated that the JAC would continue its agitation if the government was still adamant to listen to their demands.

He informed that the future course of action would be decided upon by the JAC on their next meeting on Monday.
