CAG reports forwarded to Govt

 SHILLONG: The Principal Accountant General (Audit),Shillong has forwarded the reports of the CAG for the year ended March 31, 2012 on social, general and economic sectors and public sector undertakings containing significant results of the performance audit and audit of transactions in various State Government departments and audit of public sectors undertakings to the Meghalaya Government.

Others include report on Meghalaya Government (Revenue sector) year ended March 31,2012 regarding audit of receipts comprising sales tax, VAT, state excise, taxes on motor vehicles, stamp duty and registration fees, forest, mining and other tax and non tax receipts of the State.
