SHILLONG: One Sporlin Nongsiej was alleged to have kidnapped family members of a complainant at Mairang earlier this month
As per the complaints, Sporlin Nongsiej had kidnapped Trel Warbah along with her four children Pynshai Warbah(26), Banshait Warbah(18), Iaitei Warbah(16), and Budlin Warbah (14). However, the kidnapping spree did not stop as he kidnapped Sren Warbah along with her daughter Kynshewlang Warbah(15) from Mawphaniew village.
Earlier On March 23, the accused also kidnapped Basharna Nongrang and her daughter Lapynjanai Nongrang (14).
Police arrested him on May 14 this year.
