Rome: Sania Mirza and Bethanie Mattek-Sands breezed into the pre-quarterfinals of the WTA Premier Rome event with an easy straight sets win over Shuko Aoyama and Liga Dekmeijere 6-1, 6-3 in the opening round of the clay court event.
