Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh on Monday gave farewell to outgoing Governor Gen J J Singh here. Lt General (Retd.) Nirbhay Sharma has been appointed as the new Governor of Arunachal Pradesh by the President on May 16. He will arrive here on Tuesday and the swearing-in ceremony is likely to be held on May 29. Hundreds led by Chief Minister Nabam Tuki, including school children gathered at the Raj Bhavan helipad to see off the Governor and his wife. (UNI)
