Protest rally in Nagaland

Kohima: The mothers and students’ bodies of the Lotha Naga tribe under the banner Kyong Eloe Hoho (KEH) and Kyong Students’ Union jointly organized a protest rally on Tuesday against the triple murder of a Naga family at Bor-Lingri in Karbi Anglong district of Assam on May 16.

The protest rally was held today in Wokha district with thousands of protesters carrying placards which demanded justice and capital punishment to the culprit.

The rally proceeded towards the Deputy Commissioner Office, Wokha and submitted a representation to the Deputy Commissioner demanding immediate action against the culprits. (PTI)
