 NONGSTOIN: The office of the District Sports Officer, West Khasi Hills, will conduct the West and South West Khasi Hills District Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament for sub-junior boys under-14 and junior boys and girls under-17 in Nongstoin and Mawkyrwat separately from the third week of June.

PB War Nongbri, DSO Nongstoin, in a press statement issued on Tuesday, stated that entries must be sent on the prescribed form, which is available from the Office of the DSO in Nongstoin during office hours and the last date for receipt of entries is June 12.

Entries should be submitted at the DSO in Nongstoin during office hours.

Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.

Only 16 players are allowed to register for entry before the Age Screening Committee.

Each athlete must be a bonafide student of the school concerned and should have 75 percent attendance in the academic year until the date of submission of entry.

Proof of date of birth (original birth certificate) should be enclosed along with the registration form to be brought along during the screening test.

Athletes will be subjected to an Age Screening Test on June 18 at Indoor Stadium, Nongstoin, from 10:30am for West Khasi Hills and on June 19 at Indoor Stadium, Mawkyrwat, from 11:00am for South West Khasi Hills.

 

SHILLONG: The office of the District Sports Officer, East Khasi Hills, will conduct the District Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament in the age group of U-14 boys and U-17 boys and girls from June 24.

The entry forms are available from the DSO, with the last date of submission being June 18 during office hours. Screening of the players will take place on June 21 at the DSO.

U-14 players must have been born on or after November 1 1999. U-17 players must have been born on or after November 1 1996.

Participating schools must enclose a photocopy of the birth certificate of each athlete preferably issued by a CHC/PHC/Shillong Municipal Board duly attested along with the form and eligibility certificate.
