Inter District Integration Camp inaugurated

 TURA: Day Inter District Youth Camp organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Tura in collaboration with Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, West Garo Hills, Tura was inaugurated here on Wednesday at the MBOSE Hostel, Tura.

The camp which will be held from May 29 to June 1 is a part of Year of Youth 2012 activities and being implemented by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan to channelize the potential of the youth force.

Inaugurating the camp, South Tura, MLA, John Leslee K Sangma urged the participants to be proud of their culture and tradition while reminded them of their role in nation building and in the integration of the country.

He also informed that the state government has a number of projects that involves the youth and even award those who have excelled in various fields.
