Four detained by city patrol

SHILLONG: The city patrol on Wednesday night detained four people including a minor for reckless driving apart from being under the influence of alcohol.

East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang informed that when signaled to stop by the city patrol, the Tata Indica car (ML-05E-6273) driven by one Rahul Biswa refused to comply. On being chased by police, the car dashed against the city patrol vehicle. Apart from a minor, the detained persons have been identified as Carry Diengdoh (20), Alana Mawphlang (21) and Suzana Diengdoh (28) while the driver of the vehicle managed to flee away.
