SHILLONG: Health and Family Welfare Minister AL Hek on Monday held a detailed discussion with additional secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare SK Srivastava with regards to the organisation of a national health golf tournament in Shillong.
The theme of the tournament is ‘Golf for Health’ and it is being organised jointly by the ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the state health department.
The tournament is expected to be held in November-December this year.
Hek also raised the matter of developing the Shillong Golf Course with the aim of promoting tourism in Meghalaya.
