Threat

One Sylvanus Mallai lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that in the month of March 2013, one Pinky Sangkli, threatened him with dire consequences, in the premises of District Jail, Shillong.

Accident

On June 3, one Police vehicle (ML-02-1138), driven by Arbinson Ch. Marak, dashed against a motorcycle (ML-07-7763) ridden by Nagar Marak along with pillion rider Pringseng D Shira in Tura (WGH). As a result, the motorcycle rider sustained injuries and admitted at CH, Tura. A criminal case has been registered in this connection.

Thefts

On June 3 at around 6.30 pm, unknown miscreants stole cash Rs. 20,000 and other valuables belonging to Shri Bhaskar Sen from Hotel Elgin, Police Bazar.

On June 3, unknown miscreants stole Rs. 20,000 belonging to one Srinivasan from Broadway Hotel, Police Bazar.

On June 1 at around 7.30 pm, unknown miscreants stole Rs. 2 lakh from the room of Fr. Roland Kharkrang at St. Dominick Savio Church, Mawlai.

Dacoits arrested

On the night of June 3, Williamnagar Police arrested five dacoits, Ronit M. Marak, Bickram D. Sangma, Lastborn Ch. Marak, Kilberth G. Momin and Danisha D. Sangma from Samanda and Williamnagar (EGH). Police also recovered and seized one pistol from the possession of Kilberth G. Momin.

Thief apprehended

On June 2, Members of Synjuk Ki Rangbah Shnong, Nongtrai (WKH) apprehended one Nasang Dkhar (28 yrs), who is suspected to have been involved in a robbery case (May 25, 2013) at Nongmawkhar Rim village (WKH).

Rape attempt

One Spit N. Marak lodged a complaint at Baghmara PS that on June 1 at around 11 pm, one Nor Ali along with his two accomplices, attempted to rape two girls at Makbilkol, Baghmara (SGH).
