 SHILLONG: Members of the Shillong Press Club on Tuesday mourned the death of one of its members and colleague Torian Thongni, who died at the Shillong Civil Hospital after suffering from convulsion.

Torian Thongni was admitted in Civil Hospital on June 1 and passed away on June 2. His body was taken back to his village, Domshken, by relatives and seen off by several members of SPC on June 3.

Born on September 13, 1978 Torian Thongni entered the field of journalism in 2000, with the print as well as electronic media. He will be laid to rest at his birthplace on June 4.
