SHILLONG: One of the cellular service providers in the State, Aircel on Thursday said that the cellular company can provide better services in International border areas if the Government allows the setting up of towers along the International border. It is an open fact that the cellular connectivity along the Indo-Bangla border is poor and residents along the border are forced to use Bangladeshi mobile connection.

Aircel North East and Assam Business head Dibyajyoti Khaund, on Thursday said, “We have to abide by the rules of the Government and our signal should not cross to the other side.”
