Earlier, police arrested Niyati Ghosh, wife of slain driver Balaram Ghosh for her alleged involvement in the sensational murder case.

The Special Investigating Team (SIT) armed with the inputs given by Niyati on Friday stormed into the office of the newspaper at Palace Compound and arrested its editor cum owner.

After his arrest, Chowdhury was taken to government hospital where his medical test was conducted after which he was put behind the lock up.
