SHILLONG: The Garo Students Union (GSU), Khasi Hills zone, has condemned the recent attack on an MTC bus by suspected GNLA militants. In a statement issued here on Saturday, GSU Khasi Hills vice president Decision Sangma said that such mindless acts of violence would never do any good to the people. “Students who were on their way to Shillong for their higher studies and employment have been greatly affected as their documents were reduced to ashes in the incident,” the GSU said while urging the Government to act against those responsible.
