SHILLONG: Hours after senior BJP leader LK Advani quit all party posts, the Meghalaya BJP unit said that the ‘misunderstanding’ will be addressed soon.

BJP State unit general secretary Dipayan Chakraborty, while speaking to The Shillong Times on Monday said, “This is a small misunderstanding and we will settle it at home.”

Advani’s resignation comes a day after the selection of controversial leader Narendra Modi to head the party’s 2014 election campaign.

“We are sure he will call back his resignation as he feels for the party,” Chakraborty added.
