SHILLONG: Cases of old people resorting to commit rape on old victims have been reported from various parts of the state during the past few days.
On June 12 around 12 noon, one Thou Sad (63) raped one mentally unstable woman (32) when she was home alone at Laitnongrim under Mawngap OP in East Khasi Hills. Police arrested the accused. In another incident, a 75-year-old woman was raped by a 58-year-old Brian Khymdeit at Lamalong village (RB) on May 28.
