SHILLONG: Honourluck Nongbri and Chesterpaul Lyngdoh scored hat tricks in a high scoring game as Nangkiew Irat beat Malki 7-4 in the U-19 Shillong Premiere League match here on Friday.

Honourluck scored in the 20th, 72nd and 75th minutes while Chesterpaul found the nets in the 34th, 51st and 52nd minutes.

Reson Malngiang added one for Nangkiew in the 23rd minute to dash all hopes of a spirited Malki side.

If not for some brilliant saves by Malki keeper Skhemborlang, it could have been a bigger victory for Nangkiew who failed to score from as many as two penalties.

The first penalty was offered in the first half. Honourluck tried placing the ball past Skhemborlang, who made a wonderful diving save to his left.

For Malki Kordor Marwein (32″), Blessing Pamtheid (35″), Preciousland Kharbhih (59″) and J Tlang (64″) were the goal scorers.
