Shillong-Silchar bus service to resume

 SHILLONG: Following a reciprocal agreement, the Meghalaya Transport Corporation (MTC) and the Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) will resume the bus service to Silchar from Monday.

Sources on Sunday informed that the MTC and the ASTC have arrived on an agreement of running the buses on alternate days.

According to sources, new deluxe buses have been arranged for the bus service to Silchar. The bus from Shillong to Silchar will leave at 8am while the buses from Silchar to Shillong would start at 7:30am.
