SHILLONG: East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang on Monday said that the altercation between the accused Subash Biswas and victim Debjani Khan took place due to their personal matter.
He said that the accused was known to the victim.
The middle aged woman was allegedly murdered by Subash Biswas at her residence at Laban last month.
State police has arrested two persons in connection with the murder and both the accused have been forwarded to five days police custody.
