Dr Sangma arrived here on Tuesday night while Lapang arrived on Wednesday.

Both the Congress MPs from the state — Vincent H Pala and Mrs Wansuk Syiem — are in the capital and are expected to participate in Thursday’s meeting.

All the Congress leaders will also meet Dr Vijay Laxmi Sadho (Madhya Pradesh), who has been assigned by Falerio to look after Meghalaya affairs as the secretary in-charge.

The leaders are scheduled to discuss the tri-monthly report on the overall political situation in the state with Faleiro. The report is to be submitted to the party vice-president Rahil Gandhi, who is now taking interest in the party affairs after his elevation.
