SHILLONG: Nangkiew Irat pumped in eleven goals against a depleted Mawlai on Thursday’s U-19 match at the JN Stadium to keep their hopes of claiming this season’s championship alive.

With this result, a win for Rangdajied against Malki means that they will be tied with Nangkiew Irat on 13 points.

Royal Wahingdoh, on the other hand, have 11 points and will have to beat Nangkiew in their last match to claim the title.

Nangkiew’s Honourlucky Nongbri opened his side’s account in style in the 17th minute after a cross from the right flank allowed him to place the ball into the net.

Superfine Suting scored five goals (25th, 38th, 57th, 79th, 88th mins) while Banmanroy Nongsiej scored two in the 54th and 57th minutes.
