Kohima: The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) will observe a 12-hour total bandh in all the Naga inhabited areas on Monday to express strong resentment against the alleged attempt on the life of an NSF official.

The bandh will begin at 0600 hrs on Monday.

In a press release, the Auditor General of the NSF Jungithung Yanthan and its Finance Secretary Shikavi Achumi stated that the federation appealed to all the tribal hohos, women hohos and the entire Naga populace to support and cooperate with the call of the federation.

The NSF also appealed to all government establishments, educational institution and business community to remain closed.

The proposed bandh will be strictly imposed upon vehicular movements, pedestrian, Government and private functions and programs or any other related events. Administration, security personnel, medical and press media will be exempted. (UNI)
