SHILLONG: Police on Sunday night arrested a boy for allegedly raping a 10-year-old relative at Jhalupara in the city. East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang on Monday informed that the accused, who claims himself to be a minor, allegedly raped the girl at his residence at Jhalupara on Sunday. Unsatisfied with the boy’s claim of being a minor, the police decided to send the accused for age determination test on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the accused has been forwarded to juvenile home.
