Untitled-1 copyNONGSTOIN: If you thought that bottled drinking water was safe, think again. A bottle of mineral water (Aqua Gold) was found in Nongstoin market containing not one but three insects in it.

The bottled water of 500ml quantity was manufactured in VK Food and Beverage Industrial Estate, Senchowa Nagaon, Assam 782002 with batch No 781 and date of manufacture May 9, 2013.

The bottle boasts of being purified by RO system white UV sterilization. Alarmingly, the bottled water is an ISO 2200:2005 and HACCP certified product.

Besides, the bottle also tries to convey how safe its content is by describing the manufacturing process. In the ingredients section, they somehow forgot to mention the content of insects in it.
