Ranchi: Alleging that the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress combine who are going to form the next government in Jharkhand do have the required majority, state BJP president Ravindra Kumar Rai on Saturday asked the Governor to call for a parade of the legislators those who would be supporting it.
‘The Congress and the JMM do not have the required numbers and the Governor should verify the matter and ask for a parade of the legislators those who are supporting the formation of next government,’ Mr Rai said here.
He requested Governor Syed Ahmed to block the move by the two parties to form a government in the state as it would not serve to the best interest of Jharkhand.
‘This coalition lacks majority as JMM legislators Nalin Soren and Sita Soren are absconding,’ Mr Rai said adding that Congress MLA Sawna Lakra is also behind the bars. (pti)
