SHILLONG: UDP Mylliem constituency president Hamlet Dohling expressed concern over the deplorable condition of roads in various localities of Upper Shillong.
In a letter submitted to PWD National Highway Chief Engineer here on Tuesday, Dohling said that the road right from Lummawbah, Nongkseh and Lai Mer and also from Kynton to Umlyngka was in a very bad shape, affecting the people of these areas.
“I would urge upon to kindly construct proper drainage system to prevent the frequent damages of these roads,” he added.
