SHILLONG: Following the State government’s failure to put in place a full proof mechanism to tackle the problem of illegal immigration, several prominent organizations of the State will meet here on Friday to chalk out their future course of action Informing this here on Wednesday, FKJGP president Jo Marwein said, “The Chief Minister had given an assurance to meet us soon after the Budget session of the Assembly. But till date, there is no positive response from him.”

“We cannot wait since it is a matter of life and death for the indigenous population of the State,” Marwein said.
