NONGPOH: The Ri Bhoi district administration has imposed Section 144 CrPC in the district prohibiting any obstruction to vehicular movements in view of the two-night-long road blockade called by Ri Bhoi Youth Federation (RBYF) from Thursday night.
The RBYF is on the warpath after the state government failed to fulfill its demand of reinstatement the two employees-Subita Lapang and Hundalin Warjri, in MUDA’s Byrnihat office. The night road blockade will be effective from 8pm to 5am.
The night road blockade will have an adverse affect on the smooth flow of traffic along the National Highway 40.
