NEIGRIHMS to hold free surgery camps

 SHILLONG: The North East Indira Gandhi Reginal Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) will conduct two free surgical camps this month.

Surgical eye surgery camp for patients who need Cataract surgeries, Squint surgeries, Oculoplasty, Glaucoma surgeries, Pterigium surgeries etc. will be held on July 16 and 17.

According to Dr Manuj K. Saikia, Official Spoke person & Chief PRO of NEIGRIHMS, patients desiring to undergo such surgeries could get their names registered till July 15 in Ophthalmology OPD. (Room No. 118).

Another surgical camp (Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy) for patients with Gall stone disease and co-related morbidities will be held on July 25 and 26.

Patients can their names registered till July 23 at Surgical O.P.D (Room No. 22, 24 & 26), Dr Saikia said adding that these Camps are organized for the benefit of the masses of the Northeastern region.
