A driver along with the co-passenger sustained injuries when the Maruti Alto they were travelling on fell into a gorge at Nongsning in East Jaintia Hills on Monday. Driver Giri Singh (47) and Indra Kumar Singh (42) were shifted to Jowai Civil Hospital for treatment.
A Tempo Traveler travelling towards Silchar from Shillong overturned when it reached Mawlyndep under Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills on Sunday. Driver of the vehicle Harka Bahadur (40) was injured in the incident.
