Ri Bhoi Deputy Commissioner Akashdeep Singh has clarified on his recent remarks in the media and stated that he had actually stated that the lower primary school in Sabuda is located 2 kilometers beyond police outpost of Assam at Sabuda.
“I have not stated and in no case it can be construed that the area falls in Assam as the entire Block II area is considered as area of difference between the two states,” he said.
