SHILLONG: Police suspect that one more cadre, who was part of a gang of militants, succumbed to his injuries during the July 19 encounter in EGH which resulted in the killing of the deputy commander of GNLA Pilon M Sangma alias Marcus.

“We have various reports which suggest that one more cadre was killed in the encounter and the matter is being further ascertained”, DGP, PJP Hanaman told reporters on Thursday.
