KSU deadline to labourers

 NONGSTOIN: The KSU Plangrin Area Unit of West Khasi Hills have warned the non-tribals working at the Ferro Alloy Company at Rwiang to have in their possession valid papers to establish their identity within ten days.

The Union said that recently when they inspected the plant, they found that out of 80 labourers, 61 did not possess proper papers to even prove that they were citizens of India.

The Union gave the labourers ten days starting Thursday to get hold of valid papers. The Union said that they would again inspect the papers of the labourers in ten days and anyone found without proper papers would be sent out of the State immediately.
