NE BJP meet for 2014 elections

 SHILLONG: The first meeting of the North East BJP Campaigning Committee for 2014 general elections was held in Assam BJP office in Guwahati on Tuesday under the chairmanship of SS Ahluwalia.

Khlur Singh Lyngdoh, the State President BJP, was also present in the meeting.

Among others who attended the meeting included Tapir Gao, Kiren Rijiju, presidents of BJP in the Northeastern states, Guwahati MP Bijoya Chakraborty who is also the National Vice President and other BJP MPs from Assam.

BJP leader Dipayan Chakraborty said that the party discussed the strategy for the coming 2014 elections in the Northeast during the meeting.
