5 Lajong boys picked for U-19 exposure trip

SHILLONG: The U-19 Indian national team will travel to China for an exposure trip and preparation camp for the U-19 AFC qualifiers, which will be held in October in Qatar.

Five Shillong Lajong FC players – Shaiborlang Kharpan, Rupert Nongrum, Jacob Lalrawngbawla, Zodingliana and Nim Dorjee Tamang – will be part of the exposure trip.

The 15-day camp will include two friendly matches with the Chinese U-19 national team before the boys return to India on August 22.
