SHILLONG: Newly-promoted I-League club Rangdajied United FC announced on Thursday that they have roped in six new players for the upcoming season.
Among the signings are former Pune FC midfielder and former Indian junior player David Lalbiakzara.
Others players who have been roped in for a one-year contract include former Air India defender Pratik Choudhari, his team mate striker Sandesh Gadkari and Southern Samity midfielder David KC Ngaite.
Gadkari has scored a total of seven goals for the Airmen in the I-League, but none of those came in the last season.
The other players to sign for the Shillong club is Prayag United midfielder Thoudam Joychandra and striker T Lalrunpuia, who has been signed from Royal Wahingdoh FC.
Rangdajied, who had won the 2nd Division I-League earlier this year, which was held in Bangalore, had earlier strengthened their defence line by roping in former Churchill Brothers Lamin Tamba last week and are on the verge of signing additional players in the coming days.
