SHILLONG: The refusal of GNLA commander-in-chief Sohan Shira to accept ANVC-B call to join the peace pact has outraged the latter outfit which lambasted the GNLA leader for allegedly taking a hasty decision under the “influence of his political patrons.”

In a statement issued here on Sunday, ANVC-B publicity secretary Doang Shira said, “The decision to decline our appeal to join the peace pact was taken by a few people without consulting the top leaders of the organisation which has triggered some difference in opinions among the (GNLA) cadres.”

The ANVC-B said that Sohan’s patrons assured him of talks with the Government which if achieved is a good scheme but if fails, lives will be lost.
