Dacoits apprehended

Report received indicated that on August 13 at around 2 am, VDP Members along with residents of Sesenpara village under Dalu PS (WGH), apprehended two persons, Himanta Koch and Sujol Koch suspecting them to be dacoits from Bangladesh and later beat them up to death.

Man stabbed

On August 13 at around 4 pm, one Bahrit Snaitang stabbed his brother-in-law, Robi Thangkhiew at Khlieh Iewduh, Shillong. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and shifted to CH, Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.

Arson case and attempted murder

lOne Sansing Marak, Kenya Marak, Adniel Marak and Sengbath Marak jointly lodged a complaint at Tura PS that on August 8, a mob of about 100 led by one Abdul Mozi, Basel Ali and Monab Ali, set fire to their motorcycles and scooter (AS-01-4565), (ML-08B-7019), (ML-08A-5038) and (WB-6592) at Chatiboi (WGH).

lIn another case, Mecansing A Sangma and Sillang Ch Sangma lodged a joint complaint at Tura PS that on August 8, a mob of about 100 armed with lethal weapons, led by the same group attempted to murder them and six others, Sansing Ch Marak, Robert Ch Marak, (Adniel Sangma, Jouston Sangma, (5) Sengbath Marak and Kenya Marak, at Chatiboi (WGH).

Counter FIR

Former Arunachal Home Minister, L Wanglat lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on July 19 one M Marak and one female security threatened and abused him at Golf Link, Shillong.
