Gang-rape
On August 13 at around 8 pm, one Sngap Syrti and his accomplices numbering six took a woman in a vehicle (ML-04B-3773) from Lad-Kyrluh to Tahthlong (EJH), where they raped her and also attempted to murder her. However, she managed to escape.
Assault
One Simon Siangshai lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on August 15 at around 6 pm, one vehicle dashed against his vehicle at Umtyra (EJH). Following this, 10 to 12 unidentified persons from another vehicle assaulted and threatened him with dire consequences.
