lA motorist and a pillion rider sustained injuries when the motorbike skidded on a turning after the motorist lost control of the vehicle. The two injured were on their way to Songsak from Williamnagar when the incident happened at Baiza under Samanda Block, East Garo Hills on August 17.The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Williamnagar helped in shifting Thimen Momin (23/M) and Holland Sangma (25/M) to Williamnagar Civil Hospital.
