SHILLONG: Laitlyngkot registered a mammoth 9-0 win over Umphrup in Thursday’s First Division match at the JN Sports Complex, Polo.

As many as six players scored goals in the match as Umphrup had no answer to the Laitlyngkot juggernaut.

Incredibly, Laitlyngkot earned seven of their nine goals in the second half after braces by Dbalton Lartang (54 and 67), Kenol Marbaniang (56 and 62), and Micksonlang Lyngdoh (65 and 68).

Riverstone Majaw finally wrapped it up with a 90th minute goal to see Laitlyngkot through convincingly.
