Tura jailbreak: Magisterial probe ordered

 SHILLONG: The State Government has finally ordered a magisterial probe into Tura jailbreak case in which a hardcore GNLA commander Kennedy Sangma made good his escape.

Informing this on Thursday, West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Pravin Bakshi said W P Marak, Additional District Magistrate, would conduct the probe. The magisterial probe is mandatory as per the jail manual.

Marak has been given three weeks time to complete the probe.
